  1. The Madison Police Department has arrested Daniel Hynes for allegedly stealing from the Sequoia restaurant on Apr. 9. Hynes was identified through surveillance footage. He is being held at the Dane County Jail on burglary charges. (WKOW)
  2. Dane County officials have announced that the county is now at "medium" COVID-19 levels. The new level is determined through a U.S. Center for Disease Control metric meant to measure the spread of the virus throughout a community. Health officials point to vaccination levels aiding in the low hospitalization levels in the county. (Channel3000.com - WISC-TV3)
  3. Dane County has announced the purchase of its 100th vehicle powered through renewable energy sources in celebration of Earth Day. The announcement was made by the County Executive during a press conference meant to highlight the efforts the county has made over the last decade.
