- A man charged with burning down his own tiny home has been found competent enough to continue with court proceedings. Jeffrey Jalinski was ordered to take a competency evaluation and a preliminary hearing has been set for May. He is facing felony arson charges and charges of threatening law enforcement officers. - The Spring Wedding Show wants to help you plan your big day on May 1 at the Madison Marriott West. Participants will learn about this season's top trends while meeting with local wedding vendors. Tickets to the show are $10 and can be purchased at the following link. (WKOW)
- A fire at St. Dennis School on Thursday caused classes to evacuate. The Madison Fire Department responded to the call around 2:30 p.m. to battle the fire occurring in the school's basement. Classes were canceled on Friday with Monday classes dependent on the amount of smoke damage spread throughout the school. The department is investigating the fire. (WMTV – NBC15)
