Teen Found After Amber Alert But Suspect Is At Large: Madison Police
A teen was located safe hours after an Amber Alert was issued Thursday, though police said the suspect remains at large.
UPDATE: Police said the 17-year-old girl who went missing from Dane County on Thursday was found and is safe, though a suspect remains at large.
Authorities said they are no longer looking for the vehicles described in the Amber Alert, which was canceled.
MADISON, WI — A 17-year-old girl was reported missing from Dane County early Thursday morning and may be in "imminent danger," according to an Amber alert.

Police said the teen may have been with 36-year-old Paul Williams III who "has a fully extraditable warrant for his arrest." After the teen's mother spoke with authorities Thursday morning, police said they believed the teen might be at immediate risk of bodily harm.
The teen was last seen in Dane County and Williams has been known to travel to Janesville and Beloit, police said.

Police described Williams as a 6-foot 6-inch tall Black man weighing 244 pounds with brown eyes, black braided hair, possibly a beard, tattoo sleeves on both arms, and that he may be using crutches.
