🌱 Toddler Dies On West Side + UW-Madison Ranked 27th Globally

Here are the top three stories in Madison today:
- The Madison Police Department is investigating the death of a toddler on the city's west side. Officers responded to the 5600 block of Schroeder Road on Monday morning to find the toddler critically injured. The child was pronounced dead at a local hospital. The medical examiner is set to determine how the toddler died but the initial investigation points to homicide. (Channel3000.com - WISC-TV3)
- Three Dane County Starbucks locations have filed with the United Food and Commercial Workers Union Local 1473. The Tiverton Pike Drive location, the Monona Drive location, and the University Avenue location have all been filed. The three stores join numerous other Starbucks stores that have been unionizing since the beginning of the year. (Channel3000.com - WISC-TV3)
- University of Wisconsin – Madison once again scores highly in the Center for World University Rankings. The university was given the 27th rank globally and the 20th rank nationally. The university was evaluated on education, employability, faculty, and research. (University of Wisconsin-Madison)
