Ruby's Pantry's three-state network includes Marshfield fairgrounds site (hubcitytimes.com) — Marshfield residents can access Ruby’s Pantry’s monthly Pop-Up Pantry at the Central Wisconsin State Fairgrounds, offering pre-packed food bundles for $25 with no income or residency requirements. The drive-through-style distribution typically runs the first Saturday monthly, from 8:30–11 a.m. or until food runs out, and volunteers are actively needed to keep pace with growing demand. 
2. Griese Park playground clears final hurdles, construction set for spring 2026 (hubcitytimes.com) — A major new all-inclusive playground is coming to Marshfield’s Griese Park, with final designs approved and construction slated to start in spring 2026 after winter site clearing. Local volunteers and donors have already raised much of the $750,000 goal to build a destination-style, wheelchair-accessible play area with ramps, adaptive zip lines, and inclusive swings.
3. Central Wisconsin HS stars thrive in strong outings as Winter settles (wausaudailyherald.com) — Marshfield athletes are standing out in early winter sports, with Hailey Klumb scoring 17 points in girls basketball and Chris Pohl dropping 31 in a boys win over Appleton East. The roundup also spotlights standout performances from neighboring central Wisconsin schools across basketball and hockey.
4. Obituary for Shirley Huth (onfocus.news) — Marshfield residents are mourning the passing of 90-year-old Shirley Patricia Huth, who made her home at North Shore Healthcare in Marshfield and cherished her central Wisconsin roots. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held December 17 at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Hewitt, with visitation beginning at 10 a.m. and burial in the parish cemetery.
