Concert, Beer Tasting and a Carnival Fill the Week in Menomonee Falls

Here's a look at what's coming up this week in Menomonee Falls.

Falls Community Carnival: The public is invited to attend an old-fashioned carnival starting at 4 p.m. Friday at Emmanuel Community United Methodist Church. The event has games and prizes, and all proceeds will benefit the Menomonee Falls Area Food Pantry. 

Noon Concert: 3/5 of Scotch will perform at noon Friday in the Mill Pond Park gazebo behind Associated Bank. A cash lunch will be served by Nino's Italian Bakery starting at 11:30 a.m. 

Community Memorial Blood Drive: A Menomonee Falls High School senior is sponsoring a community blood drive from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Friday. The Red Cross announced a blood shortage in July, and MFHS senior Emily Suetholz took it upon herself to help out. 

Plan Commission: The Menomonee Falls Plan Commission will meet at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at Village Hall. Commissioners will review developer Bill Bode's proposal to knock down an eyesore along Appleton Avenue in downtown Menomonee Falls and turn it into a parking lot.  

Beer Tasting: 
AJ O'Brady's is hosting a a Summit Saga IPA beer tasting from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Thursday at the restaurant, N88W16495 Main St.

Farmers Market: The weekly farmers market in the North Middle School parking lot on Main Street is open from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday.
