The Cheesecake Store Brings Back Regular Business Hours
After five months, Stacie and Joe Estrada decided it was time to open the doors to customers seven days a week.

After just over five months, owners of in downtown Menomonee Falls decided it’s time to open their doors again for walk-in customers.
Stacie and Joe Estrada have been operating the Cheesecake Store at its current location, N88W16606 Main St., for just over a year. However, about five months ago, the couple decided to stop holding regular business hours. Joe, who is also the head baker, got a full-time job to help supplement their income. They decided to focus on weddings and weekend events and met with customers by appointment at their store.
A majority of their orders were placed online, and although their wedding business grew, something was still missing.

“We just found it wasn’t working out that well, we were less accessible to our customers, and that’s not good for anyone,” Stacie said. “As much as the Internet is utilized out there, so many people want to order in person and not online. Many of our clients were a little frustrated with that.”
Recently, the couple decided to bring back their business hours. The store is now open from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Fridays, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturdays, and noon to 2 p.m. Sundays.

Stacie said a variety of by-the-slice cheesecake menu items will be available for customers who are looking to satisfy their sweet tooth, or just want to enjoy a dessert after eating a meal downtown. In addition to cheesecake, Stacie said they are also adding whoopie pies to the menu for customers that aren’t fans of cheesecake.
Returning to regular business hours also allows Stacie to meet with brides and other customers planning events during the day. There’s also plenty of art on the walls to peruse while your taste buds are busy savoring a bite of cheesecake.
But there’s more than just cheesecake at the Cheesecake Store. Stacie said they also host wine tasting events through their partnership with “Wines for Humanity.” Customers can either hold them at the store, or they will come to customers’ homes. A portion of the proceeds from those events goes to Community Advocates in Milwaukee.
“We’re really enjoying that part of the business,” Stacie said.
Wine tasting parties must be registered for since there isn’t wine on site.
Custom cakes and party platters can still be ordered online, or contact Stacie or Joe at (262)-253-1473. The Cheesecake Store can also be found on Facebook.
