You've probably walked by it numerous times while on adventures downtown, but do you know you can grab a drink in the American Legion Post at N88W16652 Main St.?
In fact, the post just added Saturday hours for thirsty residents. The bar will open at 6 p.m. Saturdays and is typically open until 11:30 p.m. or later.
The bar is also open from 6 p.m. to roughly 11:30 p.m. or later Tuesdays and Fridays.
Tap beers are just $1.50 and mixed drinks are typically $3 to $4. All the bartenders are veterans and tips go right back into the American Legion.
The bar, located in the basement, features two gaming machines, music, and a big-screen television.
