Pirates and Larry Crowne Headline Library's December Movies

Films will be shown Dec. 13 and Dec. 15 at the library's community room.

The will once again offer a nice variety for its December monthly movies. This month, “Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tidea” and “Larry Crowneare the films of choice.  They will be shown on Tuesdays and Thursdays in the library’s community room off the main lobby.  Admission is free to all, based on the movie’s rating. 

PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN: ON STRANGER TIDES

When: 2:15 p.m. Dec. 13, and 6:15 p.m. Dec. 15

What: Starring Johnny Depp, Penelope Cruz and Ian McShane.  Directed by Rob Marshall.  Captain Jack Sparrow comes upon his old love and can’t decide if she is conning him to find the Fountain of Youth.

LARRY CROWNE

When: 6:15 p.m., Dec. 13, 2:15 p.m. Dec. 15

What: Starring Tom Hanks, Julia Roberts and Roxana Ortega. Directed by Tom Hanks. A happy, good-natured ex-Navy man is downsized by a big-boxed company, so he goes back to college to start over.  Along the way, he meets characters that help him to find himself. 

Rated PG-13, 99 minutes
