Police Beat: Arandell Employee Allegedly Threatens Mangement

Incidents from the Menomonee Falls Police Department. A loose dog in Rotary Park also bit a young boy in the face, and Speedway is hit by synchronized gas thieves.

Negotiations can be tense, and for more than a year union employees have been negotiating with Arandell management to hash out a new agreement. However, on March 21, management requested advice from the Menomonee Falls Police Department after an employee made what some thought was a violent threat.

During a shift meeting on March 20, a 36-year-old employee got to the microphone and made a comment that many interpreted as a threat of gun violence toward management. The union has been in tense negotiations with Arandell management, and last summer a group of employees as those negotiations were ongoing.

The woman who made the alleged threat said her comments were taken out of context. She said she was referring to what could happen if the company β€œpushes employees to the edge.” The woman said she didn’t have any specific information about a person capable of gun violence at the company, and apologized if her comments were misinterpreted.
