Police Beat: Officers Check in on a Neighbor and Two Thefts from Vehicles
Highlights from the Menomonee Falls police reports.

Police responded to a home at 11:15 a.m. Saturday in the W1500 block of Maple Crest Lane. A 55-year-old woman was concerned that she hadn’t seen a 55-year-old male, who is her neighbor, at his home the entire week. She said he hadn’t snow blown his driveway, and his vehicle hadn’t moved.
She said he does go up north, but always takes his vehicle. She said neighbors know him as a loner, and believe he has a drinking problem and were concerned for his safety.
Police attempted to contact the man with no answer, and they couldn’t see anyone through the windows. Officers decided to force entry into the home to check on the man’s well being, however no one was located within the home.
