Police Beat: Village ‘Rocked’ by Vandals
Incidents in the Menomonee Falls police reports.

Although BB-slinging vandals have been absent from the police blotter for several weeks, the newest rash of vandalism in the village features a rock-slinging vandal or group of vandals with a vendetta against parked vehicles.
Between May 2 and May 3, three vehicles were damaged with large rocks while parked outside residences.
- On the W15000 block of Cleveland Avenue, a softball-sized rock was thrown through the front windshield of a 2005 Chevrolet van causing it to shatter. The same rock was used a second time and thrown against the front grille of the vehicle as well.
- The front windshield of a 2009 Ford Focus was damaged with a large rock outside a residence on the W9000 block of Woodlawn Drive.
- A third vehicle was damaged on the W17000 block of Shady Lane. This time a rock was thrown through the rear window of a 1997 Dodge Intrepid.
Also on May 2, a rock was thrown through the front window of a 56-year-old man’s home on the N900 block of Falls Avenue. The man’s children were in the kitchen at the time and they heard tires squealing outside the home. The reports do not indicate if this incident is related to the three others.
