Police Beat: Your Typical 'He Said, She Said' Story
Incidents from the Menomonee Falls Police Department.

The investigated a domestic incident involving a couple that would shortly be parting ways.
At 10:55 a.m. Sept. 14, a 42-year-old woman alleged that her estranged husband threw a coffee cup on the floor and tossed a potted plant out of the window. She claimed the 41-year-old man became angry after hearing she filed for divorce Sept. 8.
However, the husband had a different story. He claimed his wife was manipulative, and was conspiring to make him look bad before the divorce. The coffee pot and potted plant were just props intentionally broken so she could craft a made-up story to get him in trouble, he alleged.

Both the husband and wife alleged there was domestic violence in the past, but neither had called police. On the night they spoke with the MFPD, officers found no evidence that a crime occurred.
The wife told police she would seek a restraining order. Both the man and woman were advised that there would be a future mandatory arrest if police received another domestic violence call.

- A 39-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested at 11 p.m. Sept. 15 for his fourth OWI offense. Police arrested the man along U.S. Hwy. 41 after he failed to yield to an emergency vehicle. The man eventually came to a stop on the 8700 block of Brentwood Avenue in Milwaukee.
- Between 5:35 p.m. and 6:20 p.m. Sept. 14, an unknown person scratched the driver's side door of a 2005 Chevrolet Impala while it was parked at on Appleton Avenue. Roughly $200 in damage occurred to the vehicle, which belonged to a 26-year-old Menomonee Fall woman.
- A 23-year-old Menomonee Falls man admitted to his employer, , that he had stolen approximately $225 from the registers during business hours. He took the money sometime between Aug. 15 and Aug. 20. The man was given the opportunity to give the money back, but has not done so.
- A 54-year-old woman was caught huffing inside a vehicle parked in the lot of at 1:36 p.m. Sept. 12. The woman has a history of OWI related cases involving huffing. She was arrested for abuse of a hazardous substance, and also received a reckless driving citation.
