The snow that was reported yesterday has arrived.
Well, that hyped snowstorm that was supposed to arrive early Thursday morning finally made its appearance. However, like any true life-of-the-party type, it showed up fashionably late Thursday.
Now that the storm is here, public works plowing crews are out on the more than 200 miles of roadways in the village clearing the snow as it continues to fall.
The snow began at roughly 9:30 a.m. Thursday in Menomonee Falls, and the snow is expected to last through Friday morning. The National Weather Service is predicting between 5 and 7 inches will fall in the two-day period. Roughly 3 to 4 inches is expected to fall by this evening.
