The Falls Library Presents Capt. Frederick Pabst
The Menomonee Falls Public Library is hosting a free presentation on Capt. Frederick Pabst at the library.

Take a step back in time and learn about a man who helped shape Milwaukee’s image during its heyday as Brew City.
At 7 p.m. May 9, the Menomonee Falls Public Library will host a free a presentation on Captain Frederick Pabst, the Pabst Mansion and the breweries from Dan Emmer, a Pabst volunteer.
Emmer has been doing Pabst presentations for many years and has fascinated groups with his commentary of the history of the mansion and Milwaukee. The talk is free and open to the public in the community room on the first floor.

Pabst is of course the famous German-American brewer who founded Pabst Brewing Company. His iconic mansion was built in 1892 for a grand total of $254,000.
