Thief Adds Insult to Injury
The thief made off with the toolbox, but did they need to slash the tire?
A thief added insult to injury for the owner of a home along Saint Regis Drive in Menomonee Falls.
Between 10:30 p.m. July 26 and 8 a.m. July 27, a person opened an unlocked service door of the victim's garage and stole a 50-pound toolbox. Not satisfied with the haul, the thief slashed the tire of the victim's vehicle, which was also parked in the garage.
The thief passed over other hand tools and high-quality bicycles next to the toolbox. The stolen toolbox was in poor condition and had five drawers that contained an assortment of hand tools.
