Village Seeking New Assistant Fire Chief
The Menomonee Falls Fire Department has an opening for an assistant fire chief, and the job pays a little less than $100,000.

The village is currently accepting applications for a new assistant fire chief to oversee operations of the department.Â
The job pays well, $84,500 to $93,000, and if you have command-level experience and a decade of firefighting the job could be for you. Applicants should have at least bachelor's degree in fire science, but a master's degree is preferred.Â
Application packets are available from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday 8:00 am-4:30 pm at Menomonee Falls Village Hall, W156N8480 Pilgrim Rd. All applications must be turned in by 4 p.m. Aug. 26.Â
Former Fire Chief Jeffrey Hevey stepped down from his job in July, and took over as chief of a fire department in Texas. Police Chief Anna Ruzinski oversees both the fire and police departments as the protective services director.
