Youth Wrestlers Place at State Tourney

Nine Menomonee Falls youth wrestlers competed at the Wisconsin Wrestling Federation State Championships held March 23-24 at the Alliant Energy Center in Madison. 

Placing at the tournament were:

• Jerott Holz, 2^nd place, 115 pounds – 97-98
• Tyler Gill, 1^st place 64 pounds – 99-00
• Chase Celichowski, 6^th place 63 pounds, 03-04

Also competing at the tournament were:

• Eric Wunsch, 80 pounds - 97-98
• Austin Lasanske, 73 pounds - 99-00
• Alec Lind, 67 pounds 99-00
• Josh McMahon, 94 pounds – 99-00
• Dayne Fuiten, 110 pounds - 01-02
• Joseph Lynch, 60 pounds – 03-04. 

Wrestlers competed in 16-man brackets within age based weight classes.  These wrestlers qualified for the tournament at regional competitions held March 10^th.   Congratulations to these outstanding Falls youth wrestlers.
