Driver Facing Homicide Charges Following Fatal Milwaukee Crash
Police said the driver was traveling at a high rate of speed while attempting to pass another vehicle on the right when he lost control.
MILWAUKEE, WI — A Milwaukee man has died following a vehicle crash that occurred over the weekend, according to the Milwaukee Police Department.
The crash happened Sunday shortly before 10 p.m. along the 4000 block of N. 27th Street.
Police said the victim, a 55 year old whose name hasn't been released, was a passenger in a vehicle at the time of the crash.

The driver of that vehicle was traveling at a high rate of speed while attempting to pass another vehicle on the right when he lost control and struck a tree, killing the passenger, police said.
Police said the driver was arrested and is facing homicide charges for intoxicated use of a motor vehicle during this incident.
