MILWAUKEE, WI — The Milwaukee Police Department is investigating a fatal hit and run crash that happened Sunday, Jan. 24 at approximately 6:10 p.m. in the 8300 block of W. Fond Du Lac Ave.Police said the suspect struck a pedestrian who was crossing the street and continued to drive westbound from the scene. The victim is a 56-year-old Milwaukee man, police said. The Milwaukee Fire Department attempted lifesaving measures, but the victim died on the scene, according to police.
