Pedestrian Killed During Hit-And-Run Crash In Milwaukee: Police

Police said the victim is a 56-year-old Milwaukee man. Officers are still looking for the driver.

MILWAUKEE, WI — The Milwaukee Police Department is investigating a fatal hit and run crash that happened Sunday, Jan. 24 at approximately 6:10 p.m. in the 8300 block of W. Fond Du Lac Ave.

Police said the suspect struck a pedestrian who was crossing the street and continued to drive westbound from the scene.

The victim is a 56-year-old Milwaukee man, police said.

The Milwaukee Fire Department attempted lifesaving measures, but the victim died on the scene, according to police.

Milwaukee police said they located the suspect's vehicle unoccupied in the area and are presently seeking unknown suspect(s) in connection with the case.
