Amazon To Bring Bring 400 More Jobs With Expansion In Kenosha
Amazon is leasing a one-million-square-foot facility nearby its existing footprint in Kenosha. The facility could be open as soon as 2023.

KENOSHA, WI — Amazon is set to lease a one-million-square-foot distribution facility near its current facility in Kenosha, bringing about 400 jobs in the process, according to a news release from the Kenosha Area Business Alliance.
The facility is set for a launch in 2023. The entire building will be used as a regional distribution center for inventory sorting and optimization, and it comes as a support for Amazon's network across the region and the United States, according to the news release.
The building began construction in 2021.

The facility currently operating in Kenosha opened in 2013 and over the course of its expansion in recent years it employs about 3000 people, the news release said. The new facility is located at 10601 38th Street in Kenosha.
"Amazon has been a wonderful addition to our community and I am pleased to see the new distribution center will add further employment opportunities offering substantial benefits," Kenosha Mayor John Antaramian said in the news release.
