Authorities Identify 2 Who Died In Motorcycle Accident
The accident happened on Durand Ave. near International Drive. Police said they learned two people died in the accident Monday night.

MOUNT PLEASANT, WI — Police say a Racine man and a Kenosha woman died in a motorcycle accident Monday night along Durand Ave.
According to the Mount Pleasant police department, officers were sent to the area of Durand Ave. and International Drive for a report of a motorcycle accident.
Authorities said they learned two people died in the accident as they were en route to the place where they crashed.

According to police, the driver of the motorcycle was heading east on Durand Ave. through the construction zone when it left the highway and hit a utility pole on the north side of the road.
South Shore Fire Department personnel responded to the crash and found two victims.

On Tuesday, authorities identified the victims as Jeffrey Uick, 37, of Racine, and 42-year-old Kelly Lawler of Kenosha.
