Developers Eye Mount Pleasant For Single-Family Apartments: Report
The developer is looking at possibly bringing 374 apartments to land in Mount Pleasant, The Milwaukee Business Journal reported.

MOUNT PLEASANT — Developers from Advenir Oakley Capital, LLC, have purchased 49 acres in Mount Pleasant and may seek to construct a 374-unit apartment development that is modeled on single-family homes and duplexes, according to a report by The Milwaukee Business Journal.
The investment company purchased land near Spring Street, Interstate 94 and Highway V, the report said. Village officials met with the developers in February, at one point under closed session. The company told the Business Journal they are currently planning to see if the development is viable.
Initial plans for the apartments show they would be much like individual homes with garages and backyards, the report said.
