Increased Reward, Updated Photos Of Police Shooting Suspect
Donations are rolling in to bolster the reward for information leading to the conviction of the suspect in a police shooting.

RACINE, WI — The Kenosha County Sheriff's Department released three updated photos of the suspect in the fatal shooting of Racine Police Officer John Hetland. Hetland was attempting to stop an armed robbery when he was shot, reports say. The photos are in the Facebook post shown at the bottom of the article.
Authorities said that Hetland, who was off-duty that Monday night, was shot and killed after he tried stopping an armed robbery at Teezer's Tavern, 1936 Lathrop Ave. on Racine's southwest side.
Police said Hetland intervened as a masked man attempted to rob the bar at about 9:40 p.m. Monday. He sustained a fatal gunshot wound during the altercation, police said.

The reward for information leading to the suspect's arrest and conviction has increased as organizations continue to donate money to the reward pool. Here's who's donating, according to the Kenosha County Sheriff's Office:

Anybody with a home surveillance system within a half-mile radius of Teezers Tavern is asked to turn in footage between the evening of June 17 to the morning of June 18 to police to bolster their investigation.
