Kenosha Community Health Center Sets Coronavirus Guidelines

According to health center officials, all currently-scheduled patients will be contacted via phone to discuss electronic options.

KENOSHA, WI — As health care providers, clinics and hospitals grapple with the influx patients due to the coronavirus outbreak in Wisconsin, the Kenosha Community Health Center, with campuses in Downtown Kenosha and in the county, have set up new visitation guidelines in order to help prevent the spread of the virus.

According to health center officials, all currently-scheduled patients will be contacted via phone to discuss electronic options and schedule a video-based appointment. Patients are urged to call at 262-383-4091 to be evaluated by one of the center's providers and directed on what type of visit is appropriate:

  • Phone
  • Video Conference
  • In-Person

If a patient is instructed to come in for a visit, KCHC has instituted a “one person” rule. Only patients are to attend appointments. Children may have one parent or guardian present. If a patient is in need of translation services, they're urged to let center officials know prior to their visit. All who enter will have their temperature taken at the door upon entry.
