Kravings To Bring Sweet-Topped Shakes To Mount Pleasant
Kravings is bringing its shakes, topped with donuts, brownies and more, to Mount Pleasant as early as June, owner Jordan Karweik told Patch.

MOUNT PLEASANT, WI — A new spot to get milkshakes heartily topped with confections and baked goods is planning to open in Mount Pleasant, and eying further locations in southeastern Wisconsin down the road.
What started in Waterford in January is expanding to a new spot in Mount Pleasant at 5517 Durand Avenue, plus another location in Burlington as early as June, CEO Jordan Karweik told Patch.
At the heart of Kravings' offerings are the milkshakes, topped with donuts, cookies, brownies and other confections. The spot also offers coffee drinks, craft soda and more, according to Karweik.

Karweik described the shakes as "the bloody marys of shakes."
The idea to start the business came to Karweik when he saw a video of some shakes out in New York. He told Patch he wanted to go out and get one in Wisconsin, but couldn't find anywhere to go, so he decided to create it himself.

Kravings' first location opened in Waterford with a line that many had to wait hours in, according to Karweik.
"People have been pretty receptive to the things that we're doing," Karweik said.
Karweik is eyeing other locations to expand to down the line, he said, with Oak Creek being one potential candidate. Karweik owns the business alongside Mike Ottelien.
