Woman Pepper Sprayed Potbelly Staff Over Service Issue: Police
Police said a restaurant manager called police after a woman pepper sprayed staff members, and left the restaurant.

MOUNT PLEASANT, WI — Authorities in Mount Pleasant are searching for two women after witnesses say one pepper sprayed the entire staff and menu offerings at the local Potbelly Sandwich Shop over an issue with service.
According to the Mount Pleasant police department, officers were sent to the Potbelly Sandwich Shop at 11:15 a.m. Tuesday on a report of an upset customer.
Police said a restaurant manager called police after a woman pepper sprayed staff members, and left the restaurant.

According to police, a woman became unhappy with the service she received and became upset. A second woman came into the restaurant and began spraying pepper spray, effecting all of the employees and the food, police said.
Police said the woman sprayed one employee directly in the face before running off. The South Shore Fire Department treated the employees but they did not need to be transported to the hospital.

Police say the women have not been located, and that officers are continuing to investigate the case.
