10-Year-Old Dies After Boat Crash In Waukesha County, DNR Investigating
Authorities say a 74-year-old man was operating the boat that struck the child.
MUSKEGO, WI — A 10-year-old child died after a boating accident Saturday morning on Little Muskego Lake, according to officials.
At about 10 a.m. on June 7, officers from the Muskego Police Department and first responders from the Tess Corners Fire Department were dispatched to Idle Isle Park following a report of a boat crash.
The child was seriously injured in the incident and received immediate medical care at the scene before being transported to a local hospital. The child later died from their injuries.

Preliminary reports indicate a boat operated by a 74-year-old man, with one other person on board, collided with a stationary boat carrying three people, including the child. No other significant injuries were reported.
The Muskego Police Department said all parties involved are cooperating with the investigation. Authorities are working alongside the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources to determine the cause and contributing factors of the crash.
