St. Leonard Catholic School in Muskego Receives Exemplary Status
St. Leonard School received Exemplary Status in Catholic Identity and Mission as of June 21, 2023.
MUSKEGO, Wis.-- St. Leonard Catholic School in Muskego is proud to announce that they have received Exemplary Recognition in Mission and Catholic Identity from the Archdiocese of Milwaukee as of June 21, 2023.
Based on an on-site team visit from the Archdiocesan Office of Catholic Schools, St. Leonard School has received this designation for its efforts in the following criteria: faith development, integration of Catholic Social Teachings, unified mission with its parish, positive impact of the parish and school’s relationship, formation of the spiritual lives of its students, parents, faculty and staff, academic excellence and service. To achieve Exemplary Status, a school must be identified as highly effective in at least 75% of the criteria and have no ratings below the expected level.
“Earning Exemplary Status in mission and Catholic identity helps us speak to the importance of integrating our mission into everything we do,” said Laura Bisher, St. Leonard School principal. This shared mission is, “Growing as Catholics in the image of Jesus Christ through worship, formation and community.”

Bisher continued, “I couldn't be more proud of our parish and school community. I want to thank our dedicated teachers and staff, our parents who are invested in their children's education, and our students who embrace their faith and work toward academic excellence.”
St. Leonard School serves families with children in grades K3-8 and seeks to form the whole-person through academics rooted in faith, an on-site STEM lab, competitive athletics, service projects and more.
