5 Injured In Interstate 43 Rollover Crash: Fire Officials

NEW BERLIN, WI — Four children and one adult were injured in a single rollover car crash Monday on Interstate 43 at Racine Avenue.

Firefighters from the New Berlin Fire Department had to extricate one adult from the car. The adult was taken to Froedtert Hospital and is in stable condition, the fire department said in a statement.

Four children were taken out of the car by bystanders, the fire department said. They were taken to Children's Hospital and are all in stable condition, the fire department said.

New Berlin firefighters, Waukesha Police Department and New Berlin Police Department arrived at the scene around 12:40 p.m., the fire department said.
