NEW BERLIN, WI — Before the town's cutest witches and goblins take to New Berlin streets in search of Halloween's sweetest bounty, it's a good idea for parents to check out what Mother Nature has in store for our community's annual trick-or-treating festivities.

Trick-or-treating in New Berlin is planned for 4-7 p.m. Sunday. Considering the event is just days away, there's a good chance we'll stay dry.

The AccuWeather forecast calls for a rather cloudy day on Sunday with a high of 51 and low of 28, but no rain.

Along with expected 10 mph winds and 16 mph gusts, you may want to consider a warm costume or an extra jacket this weekend.

If you want a bit more reassurance on the trick-or-treating forecast, the National Weather Service calls for something a bit different, but still no rain. The NWS forecast is expecting a sunny day on Sunday and similar temps.

Still no costume? You can plan on heading to the thrift store for some last-minute arrangements, or if retail is more your style, there are plenty of Spirit Halloween stores around New Berlin.
