New Berlin Recycling Center Will Be Closed Thursdays
Starting this week, the New Berlin Recycling Center will temporarily be closed on Thursdays until after Sept. 16.
NEW BERLIN, WI — Closures at the New Berlin Recycling Center are set to start this week each Thursday until after Sept. 16.
The Department of Public Works is undergoing a cold storage construction project during that time period, so the recycling center will be closed, according to a news release from the City of New Berlin.
"These extra days of no traffic will help the contractor finish their grading activities in the busiest portions of the center first. DPW will be placing signs near the recycle center entrance as soon as today to let residents know of this upcoming change," the news release said.
