The men and women of our Post represent veterans who have served in WWII and every other conflict that our great nation has found itself involved in since then. Our veterans know the meaning of words such as courage, honor, duty, hardship and sacrifice. As do the men and women of our police and fire departments.
We want all members of the Police and Fire Departments to know that our Post is proud of them, we honor them, and we support the one hundred percent. If any member of these fine organizations would ever wonder where the members of VFW Post 5716 stand, they should never look behind them because we will not be there. We will be right beside them shoulder to shoulder. Supporting them in the best manner that each of us can."
