3 Oak Creek Vehicle Break-Ins Reported Overnight

OAK CREEK, WI — Police in Oak Creek reported three vehicle break-ins overnight. In each case, a suspect entered an unlocked vehicle, rummaged through the contents of the vehicle's cabin, and stole a number of goods inside:

An Oak Creek resident called police at just after 12 p.m., saying someone entered her unlocked car overnight, stealing some small change, a canvas tote bag and rummaged through the cabin.

300 block W. Puetz Road
An Oak Creek resident said her car was rummaged through. Her Social Security card, and about $260 was stolen from inside. The vehicle was not locked. This call came through just before 1 p.m.

A woman called police, saying her purse was stolen out of her vehicle overnight. Sometime between 7:30 p.m. Sunday and 1 p.m. Monday, someone entered her unlocked vehicle to take the purse, and its contents.
