A Principal in Chicken Costume - For a Cause

Cedar Hills students got to have a little fun after a successful fundraiser.

Now there's an incentive to raise money.

In a span of eight days, students brought in loose change and raised more than $3,000 for Pennies for Patients.

As a result, they got some unique and crowd-pleasing rewards. Several students were chosen to cut Principal Ed Mittag's tie and 20 staff members were "slimed" by a fifth-grade class Friday.

And on Monday, Mittag wore a chicken suit as he greeted students to start the day.

The money raised benefits the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
