Angry Ex Punched Wendy's Drive-Through Window: Report

Police in Oak Creek say a man showed up in the Wendy's drive-through on his moped and punched the window where his ex-girlfriend worked.

OAK CREEK, WI — Police in Oak Creek say a 19-year-old Milwaukee man has been arrested after he pulled up to the Wendy's drive-through in his moped and tried punching his ex-girlfriend through the drive-through window.

According to a police call log in Oak Creek, a Wendy's fast food restaurant employee called 911 at just before 7 p.m. on Oct. 30 after her ex-boyfriend pulled up in the drive-through on his moped, and smashed the window with his fist.

Police said officers caught up with the unruly ex on the 6000 block of W. Rawson Ave. when a police pursuit ensued. Police said the man, a 19-year-old Milwaukee man, fled officers on his moped, driving on the wrong side of the road and ignoring multiple stop signs.

According to police, the man later crashed at Cooper Park in Milwaukee. The man tried running from police after he crashed, but officers quickly caught up with him.

Police said the man surrendered. After a search, officers recovered a set of brass knuckles.

Police arrested the man on suspicion of domestic violence, criminal damage to property and fleeing an officer. He was also cited for driving without insurance.

The moped was towed to an impound lot, police said.
