Crack Cocaine, Marijuana Found At Burger King Fender-Bender: Cops

When officers searched the vehicle, they reportedly found 41.6 grams of marijuana and 13.9 grams of crack cocaine in the car.

OAK CREEK, WI — Authorities in Oak Creek say a minor fender-bender in the Burger King parking lot led to drug charges for a person caught with crack cocaine and marijuana in their vehicle.

According to Oak Creek police call logs, officers were called out to the scene of a two-car accident outside the Burger King near the intersection of S. Howell Ave. and W. Town Square Way just after 9 p.m. on Sept. 22.

Police said a car that was backing out of a parking spot sideswiped a second car that was also parked.

But when police tended to the minor accident scene, police call logs stated that the officer on duty smelled a strong odor of marijuana coming from one of the vehicle.

When officers searched the vehicle, they reportedly found 41.6 grams of marijuana and 13.9 grams of crack cocaine in the car.

The owner of the vehicle was cited for possession of marijuana and also for cocaine. He was ordered into court on Oct. 28 on the two drug charges.
