Deceased Man Found At Villa Vista: Report

OAK CREEK, WI — Authorities in Oak Creek say they found drugs at the scene of a hotel room in which a 37-year-old New Berlin man was found deceased in a hotel room.

According to Oak Creek police call logs, a Villa Vista employee reported discovering a deceased man in a hotel room just before 10 a.m. on Sept. 16.

When police investigated, they determined that the man had been deceased for "a while." Police said drug evidence was found in the room, though there was no indication in the call log whether drugs were a factor in the man's death.
