Woman Arrested For DUI After Leaving Vehicle of Alleged Drunken Driver

Two arrests for operating under the influence made in less than two hours.

Oak Creek police arrested a 28-year-old woman for operating under the influence less than two hours after she was a passenger in a vehicle whose driver was also arrested for OWI.

According to a police report, an Oak Creek police officer stopped a vehicle in the 600 block of E. Rawson Ave. about 2:15 a.m. after seeing the car drive onto private property.

The officer found the driver, a 28-year-old woman, was operating while intoxicated and with a suspended license, according to the report. She was arrested for both offenses.

A 22-year-old woman who came to pick up the woman was found to have a suspended license and was cited for operating after suspension, the report said.

The logbook indicates that the passenger in the vehicle, also a 28-year-old woman, was pulled over at 3:50 a.m. Friday in the 9100 block of S. Shepard Ave.

She was arrested for operating under the influence, refusal to take a breath test and third-offense operating while revoked, according to the report.
