Brewers Promote Former Oak Creek Star

Milwaukee Brewers pitching prospect and former Oak Creek Knight Eric Semmelhack is now a little closer to home.

Semmelhack tweeted over the weekend that he has been promoted to the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers, the Brewers' Class A affiliate in Appleton. 

Semmelhack pitched 31 innings for the Brewers' rookie league team in Helena, Montana, according to Baseball Reference. He went 1-3 with a 4.02 earned-run average. 

The Brewers in the 12th round of this year's draft. He's a 2009 graduate of Oak Creek High School who went on to play for the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
