OAK CREEK, WI — A malfunctioning garbage truck in Oak Creek resulted in some unhappy motorists last week.
According to Oak Creek police call logs, a resident on the 1900 block of E. Chestnut Drive called police on the morning of Sept. 17 on a report of a garbage truck malfunction that went further awry.
Police said the investigating officer determined that an Advanced Disposal Services garbage truck picked up a garbage can in front of one of the homes on the block. There was an apparent problem with the hydraulic arm that went unnoticed.

Police said the hydraulic arm did not retract. As the garbage truck pulled away, it hit two cars, causing serious damage to one car, and minor damage to another car.
