Jursik Seeks County Board Chairmanship

One of Oak Creek's county supervisors reportedly wants to become the next leader of the county board.

Milwaukee County Supervisor Pat Jursik, who represents a portion of Oak Creek, is one of five candidates seeking to replace the retiring Lee Holloway as chairman of the county board, according to a Journal Sentinel report.

Jursik, 64, ran unopposed in the April 3 election and has been on the board since 2007. The story notes the four other candidates are part of the board's liberal majority, while Jursik is considered a moderate.
