Most 13th/Puetz Work Scheduled To Finish By Month's End

Traffic signals may not go up until next year, however.

The majority of the work to reconstruct the 13th and Puetz intersection is scheduled to be completed by the end of this month, though stoplights likely won't be up until early next year.

Crews are scheduled to complete asphalt paving during the week of Nov. 14 and install pavement markings the following week, city Design Engineer Matthew Sullivan said in an e-mail.

It's anticipated that complete traffic signal installation will occur in early 2012, he said. Until then, the intersection will function as a four-way stop as it always has.
