Neighbor Called Police In Homecoming-Night Scare: Report
Police responded to a house on S. Crane Drive after a neighbor reported hearing gunshots during a homecoming night-related incident.

OAK CREEK, WI — Residents on S. Crane Drive were subjected to a scare on the same night as Oak Creek homecoming after police say a neighbor thought they heard gunshots coming from a house down the block.
According to Oak Creek police call logs, a 911 caller told police that they heard arguing, banging and the sound of possible gunshots just after 7:30 p.m. on Oct. 5.
Police say they arrived in the neighborhood, and spoke with the person who called 911, who reportedly told a responding officer that they "without a doubt" heard gunshots.

According to police call logs, officers set up a perimeter and surrounded the house. The owners of the house were ordered out of the house, and they slowly came out of the house as officers issued the orders out loud.
According to police, officers spoke with the homeowners. They reportedly told police that they were upset due to their child, who was at homecoming, was hanging out with a peer who they felt was a bad influence.

According to police call logs, one of the parents told police that the other went into the garage to take out their frustration. In doing so, the parent slammed a door and threw some things against the metal garage door - which could have sounded like gunshots.
According to police, officers did not end up arresting anybody, and instead warned the parents about laws pertaining to domestic disturbances.
