Oak Creek Cell Phone Fraudster Arrested: Report
Police in Oak Creek say they've arrested a cell phone fraudster, but not before they had to chase him down across Drexel Town Square.

OAK CREEK, WI — Police in Oak Creek say they've arrested a cell phone fraudster, but not before they had to chase him down across Drexel Town Square.
According to Oak Creek police call logs, an employee of Verizon Wireless, 120 W. Town Square Way, called police at just before noon on Oct. 22 after learning that a fraud suspect was in their store.
Police call logs stated the Verizon Wireless employees at the Oak Creek store received a bulletin from their company warning them of a fraud suspect who committed frauds in Greenfield and Franklin. When that person walked into the store with a fake driver's license, he attempted to use it to charge wireless services to their account.

According to police, when officers arrived, ran from the store. Police chased the man until he was found and arrested near the east side of Meijer. He was issued a citation for obstructing an officer and turned over to the Franklin Police Department.
