Oak Creek Good Samaritan Turns In Valuable Purse: Report

Police say the owner of the purse was from Racine and reached out to her in order to return her purse to her.

OAK CREEK, WI — Authorities in Oak Creek say a Good Samaritan turned in a purse last week.

According to Oak Creek Police call logs, an employee at the Aldi grocery store, 6810 S. 27th Street, walked in to the Oak Creek Police station at just before 7 p.m. on Sept. 30, saying she found a lost purse at the store.

Police said an officer took possession of the purse for safe-keeping, and inventoried the contents of the purse. The purse contained more than $400 in items, police noted.
