Oak Creek Poms Will Perform At Disney World

It's been quite a successful year for the pom pon squad.

In August, the team placed fourth at the Badgerette Pom Pon Competition, a feat that qualified the team for a trip to Disney World later this winter.

Oak Creek will perform at Epcot Center and in the Walt Disney World parade, coach Donna Bachowski said.

"We are very proud to be representing Oak Creek," Bachowski wrote in an e-mail.

The team also performed well last weekend. The girls took third in their jazz/lyrical routine and third in their open competition routine during the Bucks Pom and Dance Competition at the Bradley Center.
