Former Oak Creek Youth Football Treasurer Gets Five Years Probation
Dennis Schulte will serve one year in the House of Correction.

The former treasurer of the Oak Creek Youth Football League was sentenced Thursday to five years probation after he was convicted of stealing money from the organization.
As part of the sentence, Dennis Schulte will serve one year in the House of Correction, with release for work, Alcohol and Other Drug Abuse program participation and Gamblers Anonymous meetings, according to online court records. He will report Jan. 4.
Schulte must also pay $35,000 in restitution, is not allowed in any gambling establishment, cannot be a treasurer for any organization, must submit to random urine screenings and must maintain absolute sobriety.

Schulte, 49, was found guilty Oct. 6 of a felony charge of theft from a business setting. He was accused of embezzling at least $35,000 and using the money for gambling, a trip to Mexico, car payments and other personal expenses, according to a Journal Sentinel report.
