Panera Bread Planning Drexel Town Square Restaurant

OAK CREEK, WI — Oak Creek could see a new Panera Bread open up in Drexel Town Square in 2020.

That's according to documents filed with the city that will soon be up for review with the Oak Creek Plan Commission, as reported by the Milwaukee Biz Times.

The restaurant would be a freestanding bakery-cafe with a drive-through at 7902 S. Main Street. That would put the restaurant on an otherwise vacant lot on the south side of E. Drexel Ave. and just west of S. Howell Ave.

Panera Bread currently operates one restaurant in Oak Creek at 8907 S. Howell Ave.
