Passed-Out Driver Arrested On Drug Charges: Report

OAK CREEK, WI — Authorities in Oak Creek say a man who was passed out in his car was arrested on multiple drug charges last week.

According to Oak Creek police call logs, a person called 911 at just after 8 p.m. on Oct. 14, saying that a man was passed out in a silver car on the 6300 block of S. 27th Street.

The man tried pounding on the window of the car to wake up the driver, however he would not wake up, according to police.

According to police, officers said the 32-year-old driver, of Burlington, appeared to be under the influence of drugs. Police said the officer saw a crack pipe between the man's feet, as well as several small bags of heroin on the side of the driver's seat.

Police also reported finding syringes and a heroin kit inside a drill case.

According to police, the man was arrested on suspicion of his first impaired driving offense. He was also cited for possession of heroin and possession of drug paraphernalia.
